Job summary

Cleveland Range, LLC, a Garland brand, seeks a qualified Tech Service Specialist to support garland products in the field and via remote channels. You will leverage strong technical knowledge, read schematics, and coordinate repairs and parts with customers and service teams.

Join a team focused on customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and on-site/field support, with a structured on-call rotation and travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires a strong technical background with knowledge of gas and electricity and the ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
• Must communicate effectively in English with all staff levels.
• Minimum 4 years of related field service experience, preferably in food service equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and parts expertise to service techs, service agencies, sales and customers via phone and email.
• Assist in determining needed repairs using pictures, field data, or discussions with customers.
• Proactively identify and resolve customer complaints regarding quality, tolerances, and delivered condition of products.
• Plan, direct, supervise, train, and motivate teams across Customer Service, Technical Service, Field Service and Invoicing.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and contribute to continuous improvement of customer service.

Analyze, evaluate, and present information to management concerning factors such as critical customer situations, FAS capabilities, manufacturing problems, design issues and technician/customer feedback. Act as a backup to the Service Coordinators by handling rollover calls from customers/technicians and creating dispatches, when necessary.
