Wärtsilä North America is seeking a Field Service Superintendent – Energy to lead on-site mechanical execution at customer power plants, including major overhauls and troubleshooting of RICE engines.

The role demands a safety-first mindset, extensive field service experience, and strong leadership. Occasional travel to sites across Texas is required, with a hybrid work model under Wärtsilä policy.

Qualificações

• Safety-first mindset and commitment to QHSE standards.
• Strong command of English, both oral and written.
• Proven leadership experience in the field (Superintendent, Senior Service Engineer, or similar).
• Experience with Wärtsilä engines or similar large-bore engine platforms is a plus.
• Ability to lead teams and interact professionally with customers.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and execute major mechanical overhauls, including engine disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues at power plants and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as on-site technical authority and main contact for customers during service execution.
• Prepare detailed service reports with findings and recommendations.
• Support New Build and Commissioning activities and ensure compliance with QHSE guidelines.
