Job summary

RigUp, Inc. seeks a Field Service Specialist to safely plan, install, operate, and troubleshoot completion tool systems at customer well sites. You will support multiple completion applications and mentor field personnel, ensuring QA/QC and strong safety practices.

The role requires deep knowledge of surface and downhole hydraulic fracturing operations, coordinating with contractors, and providing accurate field documentation. Travel up to 80% is expected across the Permian Basin and beyond.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in completion tools or oilfield services.
• Strong understanding of surface and downhole hydraulic fracturing operations.
• Must pass drug and alcohol testing and hold safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, operate, maintain, service, and troubleshoot downhole completion tools and equipment.
• Plan, prepare, assemble, pressure test, function test, and disassemble completion tools.
• Load out equipment and verify tools, components, and consumables.
• Complete QA/QC inspections and documentation before/after field operations.
• Conduct JSAs and toolbox talks; comply with safety, health, and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors and customer representatives.
• Read BHA diagrams, completion programs, and technical drawings.
• Prepare field reports, service tickets, inventory reconciliation, and customer documentation.
• Assist Engineering and R&D with field trials and testing.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and report to Operations Management.
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, and work areas; mentor junior staff.
