We are seeking an experienced Senior Completions Engineer to assist in the design, execution, optimization, and evaluation of hydraulic fracturing and well completion programs across our operated assets. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and work closely with drilling, reservoir, production, geology, land, and operations teams to maximize asset value and well performance.This position is ideal for a technically strong engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing strategic planning with operational execution.Essential ResponsibilitiesDesign and optimize hydraulic fracturing, stimulation, and completion programs.Lead completion planning from concept through execution and post-job analysis.Develop completion designs including stage spacing, cluster spacing, perforation strategies, fluid systems, and proppant selection.Evaluate stimulation effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve performance and efficiency.Manage completion cost estimates, AFE preparation, and budget tracking.Monitor daily completion operations and provide engineering support during field execution.Work with service providers to evaluate technologies, negotiate technical solutions, and improve operational performance.Analyze production and completion data to identify trends and recommend optimization opportunities.Develop and maintain completion standards, best practices, and technical documentation.Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across the organization.Collaborate with reservoir and production engineering teams on field development plans and forecasting.Support reserves, budgeting, and strategic planning efforts.Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related engineering discipline.Minimum 7+ years of oil and gas industry experience with significant unconventional completions experience.Demonstrated expertise in hydraulic fracturing design and execution.Experience in major unconventional resource plays.Strong understanding of reservoir stimulation, fracture modeling, production analysis, and field development planning.Experience managing multiple rigs, frac crews, and concurrent completion programs.Proficiency with industry software.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.Preferred ExperienceExperience with multi-well pad development.Knowledge of completion diagnostics, fiber optics, tracers, pressure analysis, and production surveillance techniques.Experience leading technical studies and economic evaluations.Track record of improving well performance while reducing completion costs.Leadership CompetenciesStrategic thinker with strong commercial awareness.Demonstrates ownership and accountability.Collaborates effectively across disciplines.Influences decisions through technical expertise and data-driven recommendations.Committed to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
