WMH is seeking a Senior Mechanic/Technician to join our team. You’ll ensure peak performance through diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. But more than that, you'll lead by example, optimize performance, mentor technicians, and set industry standards.

Your Mission? To drive operational excellence by delivering diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance that maximize uptime. Lead, mentor, and develop the next wave of technicians, building the future of WMH.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independence & Field Expertise: Service customers on-site in a company van with advanced tools.
  • Own Your Territory: Maintain and repair forklifts, heavy machinery, and material handling equipment.
  • Be the Expert in the Field: Provide fast, accurate, and professional on-site service.

Advanced Diagnostics & Repairs: Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, electrical issues. Execute quality repairs and preventive maintenance.

Lead & Mentorship: Train and develop junior technicians, set service standards, and foster a culture of excellence.

Customer Service: Engage with clients, provide technical solutions, and communicate effectively.

Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records, follow safety standards, and ensure OSHA compliance.

The Field:

  • Diverse job sites with weather challenges.

Physical Demands: Standing, walking, lifting over 50 lbs, and working in various conditions.

Skills & Requirements:

  • 5+ years in material handling, heavy equipment, or automotive industries.
  • Expertise in diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems.
  • ASE Certification (brakes, electrical, diesel, preventive maintenance).
  • Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, software, and systems.
  • Valid driver’s license for company van use.
