Join our Team: Mobile Field Service Technician, Remote

Midland, TX

Join Terex as a Mobile Field Service Technician in Midland, TX, and contribute to our expanding service support across the US. We foster a vibrant, inclusive culture focused on quality, innovation, and respect, offering ongoing technical training to develop your skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures.
2. Follow and promote The Terex Way Values.
3. Work on equipment such as truck-mounted aerial platforms, digger derricks, and cranes.
4. Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
5. Manage your schedule and support customer repairs.
6. Utilize current technology for work functions.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Basic mechanical tools (sockets, wrenches, impact gun).
3. At least 2 years of experience with heavy machinery or utility equipment.
4. 2+ years of Field Service experience.
5. Ability to pass MVR and obtain/maintain DOT qualification.
6. Willingness to submit to background check and drug screening.
7. Located within 60 miles of Midland, TX.

Additional Skills & Abilities:

1. 5+ years in a similar field.
2. Excellent communication and basic computer skills.
3. Customer service background.
4. Experience with utility equipment, Genie/JLG, and Terex products like Hi-Ranger, Telelect.
5. Fluid Power Society certification.

Working Conditions:

1. Willing to work varied hours, travel up to 3-4 nights/week.
2. Ability to climb ladders and over/under vehicles.
3. Lift, push, pull up to 40 lbs.
4. Work in different weather conditions and tolerate heights.
