Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician in Huntsville, AL, to lead installation, maintenance, and optimization of Building Automation and Fire Alarm systems. You will mentor field technicians, coordinate with customers and contractors, and ensure compliance with NFPA standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and commissioning BAS, Fire Alarm or related building tech.
• 5+ years hands-on BAS and integrated fire/life safety systems experience.
• 5+ years interpreting drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, specs, and codes.
• 5+ years leading field service activities or teams.
• 5+ years managing multiple service calls or projects in fast-paced field service.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of BAS and Fire Alarm Systems.
• Troubleshoot complex issues remotely and on-site to ensure reliability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to field technicians.
• Collaborate with customers, contractors, and teams to implement effective solutions.
• Conduct system testing, inspections, preventive maintenance, and performance verification.
