Job summary

TaBb Talent Solutions represents a global leader in semiconductor manufacturing technology, seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to support highly complex equipment in Hillsboro, Oregon. This role offers standard Monday–Friday hours with ~10 hours of overtime weekly and on-call pay.

You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment, collaborate with engineering and support teams globally, and ensure detailed service documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years of field service experience with complex semiconductor equipment.
• Experience with customer-facing roles and strong communication.
• Familiarity with ultra-high vacuum systems and eBeam/magnetic optics.
• Proficient with Linux/UNIX command line environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair advanced semiconductor equipment.
• Diagnose issues to maximize uptime and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with global engineering, operations, and support teams.
• Support customer escalations and participate in technical task forces.
• Document service activities and communicate status updates to leadership.
• Build strong onsite relationships with customers and act as a technical resource.
• Coordinate service activities in cleanroom environments and ensure best practices.
