Job summary

ACM Research Inc. is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to support North American customers in the Phoenix, Arizona area.

You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support complex semiconductor capital equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include leading escalations, performing start-up and acceptance activities, and collaborating with engineering, applications, manufacturing, and customer teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or a related technical field required or equivalent.
• Associate degree with 8+ years of relevant semiconductor equipment experience accepted.
• Hands-on experience with semiconductor capital equipment installation, maintenance, repair, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and support complex semiconductor capital equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures and determine corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Perform installations, relocations, start-up, qualification, and customer acceptance activities.
• Lead field modifications, upgrades, CI projects, and ECOs.
• Support customer escalations and cross-functional problem solving.
• Provide escalation plans, technical findings, and status updates to customers and internal teams.
• Mentor and train field service engineers and support staff.
• Provide on-site technical instruction to customers, subcontractors, and colleagues.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute projects of limited scope and duration.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and equipment records.
