Job summary

ASM is hiring a Senior Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair advanced semiconductor capital equipment across domestic and international locations.

You will serve as a technical expert, delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring equipment performance, reliability and safety. This role offers global collaboration and exposure to cutting-edge technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or related field or equivalent military training.
• 5+ years of field service or semiconductor equipment experience.
• Strong ability to read electrical/electro-mechanical schematics and drawings.
• Experience with preventative maintenance, installations and diagnostics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Install, qualify, perform preventive maintenance and repair on semiconductor equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical and software issues in client environments.
• Provide timely technical support and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Interpret schematics and technical docs to diagnose issues.
• Support equipment upgrades and process improvements as needed.
• Document service activities and findings accurately.
• Collaborate with engineering and customer teams to resolve complex issues.
• Maintain safety-first mindset and adhere to procedures.
• Travel domestically and internationally (25–75%).
