Job summary

ASM is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced semiconductor capital equipment. You will serve as a technical expert on-site, delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring equipment performance and safety across domestic and international locations.

Ideal candidates hold an associate degree in Electronics or related tech, have 5+ years in field service or semiconductor manufacturing, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of field service or semiconductor experience with complex capital equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical schematics/drawings.
• Strong troubleshooting skills on microprocessor-controlled systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and good English communication.

Responsibilities

• Install, qualify, perform preventive maintenance, and repair complex semiconductor capital equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, and software issues in customer environments.
• Provide technical support to customers and maintain high satisfaction.
• Document service activities and findings accurately.
• Travel domestically and internationally (25–75%) to support installations.
