Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Field Service Engineer 3 to act as the primary GEHC Services face to customers, delivering advanced repair and support for designated equipment in the Dayton/Columbus, OH area.

This role combines remote work from a home office with on-site visits to customer locations, covering MICT modalities and driving service excellence through proactive issue resolution and customer communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in engineering with 4+ years servicing electrical equipment.
• Alternate: military education with 4+ years experience, or HS diploma with 8+ years experience.
• Experience interfacing with internal teams and customers as part of a service process.
• Experience diagnosing/repairing mechanical, electromechanical or electronic equipment.
• Experience with Web applications and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair on assigned equipment.
• Lead and coach less experienced Field Engineers and provide guidance.
• Lead communications with customers and act as escalation point for issues.
• Own customer issues from dispatch to resolution and coordinate with team.
• Support account growth initiatives and revenue programs.
