Abbott is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to support diagnostic instrumentation and automation in Honolulu and Oahu, Hawaii. The role is field-based with a remote setup, requiring strong technical leadership and customer collaboration.

The incumbent will install, maintain, repair, and upgrade complex systems, perform advanced troubleshooting, and act as a technical escalation resource to ensure uptime and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer.
• Ability to travel locally up to 95% and long-distance up to 25%.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and upgrade complex diagnostic instruments and automation systems.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of hardware, software, and system-level issues.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for critical customer issues and complex service situations.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and expert technical guidance.
• Own and manage the assigned territory, prioritizing service activities to meet customer and business requirements.
