Job summary

Abbott seeks a Senior Field Service Engineer for a remote, field-based role supporting Honolulu and Oahu. You will install, maintain, repair, and upgrade complex diagnostic instruments and automation systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

As a senior technical expert, you will troubleshoot hardware, software, and system-level issues, build trusted customer relationships, and prioritize service activities to meet business needs. Travel up to 50% and uphold Abbott quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer.
• Ability to travel locally up to 95% and long-distance up to 25%.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and upgrade complex diagnostic instruments.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and system-level issues.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for critical customer issues.
• Build strong customer relationships through proactive guidance.
• Own and manage the assigned territory, prioritizing service activities.
