Job summary

IronRoad is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to join our Solon, Ohio service team. The role requires strong electrical and mechanical skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to travel across the Ohio/Kentucky/Indiana region.

Employees will perform maintenance and repairs on printing, packaging, or wide format equipment with minimal supervision and must maintain confidential service information.

Qualifications

• HS or GED required.
• 5+ years of strong electrical/mechanical skills in technical service.
• Manufacturer-sponsored training preferred.
• Electrical schematics and advanced mechanical skills required.
• Valid driver's license and insurability under corporate policy.

Responsibilities

• Serves existing accounts by analyzing work orders and planning travel.
• Maintains rapport with customers by addressing complaints and proposing improvements.
• Keeps service information confidential to protect customer trust.
• Participates in vendor training and trade shows to update knowledge.
• Completes related results to support operations and organizational mission.
• Responsible for pickup and delivery of equipment/parts as needed.
• Checks out, demonstrates equipment for customers and documents work for records.
• Includes a high level of travel periodically.
