Job summary

Redeployment, Inc. seeks a field-based service professional to calibrate, repair, troubleshoot, install, and support advanced dimensional metrology equipment in the field.

The role emphasizes complex installations, commissioning, preventive maintenance, service contract execution, customer training, and software implementation while acting as a senior resource. You will mentor junior engineers, drive process improvements, and expand field service capabilities across multiple product families in

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field service, repair, or closely related technical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, software, and system-level issues.
• Advanced installation and commissioning experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a travel-heavy field service environment.
• Ability to serve as a senior technical resource and mentor less-experienced engineers.
• Ability to travel extensively (75%+).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair advanced dimensional metrology equipment in the field.
• Lead installation, commissioning, and system validation activities.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot measurement software.
• Provide operator training and technical guidance to customers.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements.
• Represent as a senior technical resource during escalated service events.
