Job summary

Candela Corporation is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide comprehensive field support for Candela equipment within the assigned territory and beyond as needed. Responsibilities include installs, repairs, upgrades, preventive maintenance, and service contracts, with travel up to 5 days per week.

We require 5–8 years in a service role, an AS degree in electronics or equivalent, and the ability to read schematics. Weekend work and travel for trade shows and customer repairs may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a service rep position.
• AS degree in electronics or equivalent, combined with the above experience level.
• Team player, proficient in reading and interpreting schematics.

Responsibilities

• Experience with medical device repair and maintenance.
• Proficiency in laser technology (where applicable).
• Maintains an average repeat call rate of 5% or less.
• Takes a leading role in account management.
• Addresses 100% of PMs by contacting customers.
• Initiates contact with inactive accounts to generate new service business.
• Responsible for daily logistical matters and departmental tasks.
• Performs installations and service repairs.
• Provide field support on Candela equipment in and out of assigned territory.
