Job summary

Candela Corporation is a leading global aesthetic device company providing field support for Candela equipment. The Field Service Engineer will install, repair, upgrade and maintain devices, manage service contracts, and oversee logistics in a 100% travel role.

Required is an electronics background with 5–8 years in service roles; biomedical/laser knowledge is preferred, and schematics literacy is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in a service rep position.
• AS degree in electronics or equivalent; biomedical/laser preferred.
• Team player, proficient in reading and interpreting schematics.

Responsibilities

• Provide field support on Candela equipment in assigned territory and, at times, outside of territory.
• Install, remove, repair and upgrade equipment; perform preventive maintenance and sell service contracts.
• High level of account management and customer communication.
• Manage daily logistical matters and departmental tasks.
• Maintain inventory location with 5% variance and perform installations and service repairs.
• Travel 100% with possible 5 days per week away from home base; weekends may be required for shows and trainings.
• Provide high-quality communication to Dispatch, Regional Manager, and customers.
• Maintain trunk stock parts inventory and focus on performance in customer service and repair.
