Job summary

Leo Cancer Care is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our Omaha-area team. The role focuses on on-site evaluation, maintenance and repair of Upright CT and Patient Positioning devices, with opportunities to improve service offerings.

The ideal candidate lives within 50 miles of the Omaha site and collaborates closely with customers to ensure reliability and satisfaction. The position requires strong electro-mechanical expertise, experience with medical devices, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline preferred (Electronics, Mechatronics, Software, etc.)
• Associates degree, technical/vocational training or military electronics experience considered
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Willing to work normal and non-normal hours to support customers
• Valid driving license required
• Experience with medical devices such as Linear accelerators, MRI, CT, or similar modalities is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Advanced, total system-level troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and service repair on Leo Cancer Care products
• Interface with key customer contacts on equipment issues and ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain customer service reports and internal service records promptly
• Maintain tools and test equipment and ensure calibration
• Identify Sales opportunities and assist sales in the geographic area
• Work as part of a local team to provide efficient service delivery
• Responsible for Warranty and Service Agreement cost control
• Complete administration tasks on time and document Field Change Orders and Planned Maintenance
