Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair medical imaging equipment. The role leads installations, engages with customers, and ensures service excellence across multiple modalities.

Candidates must have an associate degree or relevant military education with 4+ years of field experience, a valid driver's license, and flexibility for after-hours on-call work.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent military education and 4 years of experience servicing electronic equipment
• High school diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience
• Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License
• Ability to be available after hours and/or work a rotating on-call schedule including weekends
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining customer satisfaction

Responsibilities

• Perform timely preventative maintenance on hospital equipment within healthcare systems
• Troubleshoot, service repairs and installations of moderate complexity
• Lead communications with customers and serve as escalation point for issues including installations
• Own customer issues from dispatch to resolution
• Lead installations and validations on designated equipment
• Maintain relationships with customers and ensure timely follow-up to drive satisfaction
