Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Field Service Engineer 1 to perform scheduled preventative maintenance and installations on X‑Ray and Ultrasound systems across the Tampa Bay area. The role emphasizes timely service delivery, effective communication with customers, and documentation of activities.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree or equivalent military training, has a valid driver’s license, and is flexible for after-hours support to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Requires technical degree or military equivalence in electrical/biomedical/mechanical engineering or related field.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer sites.
• Flexibility to work evenings/weekends for installation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-time preventative maintenance on X-Ray and Ultrasound systems.
• Install equipment and hand off to customers after testing and documentation.
• Document service activities and maintain logs.
• Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify service opportunities.
