Job summary

You will conduct generator acceptance tests, substation commissioning, and turnkey projects, with emphasis on testing, reporting, and client interface. Travel up to 50% is required; strong NEC knowledge and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of NEC and industry standards (OSHA, NFPA).
• Experience with power quality surveys, startup, and high/medium voltage substations.
• Background in switchgear and equipment testing up to 500-kV.
• Good communication, supervisory, and management skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and assist field engineers and technicians in the area.
• Perform complex troubleshooting, tests, inspections, and appraisals on electrical systems.
• Lead projects such as generator acceptance tests and turnkey substations.
• Develop tests and inspections in new field service areas.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, scheduling, reports and billing.
