Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA seeks an experienced instrumentation professional to perform maintenance, calibration, and qualification of routine and advanced laboratory equipment. The candidate will ensure quality system compliance and provide guidance to technical staff.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, instrument validations, and documentation within a GXP environment, with a strong focus on teamwork and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical science, engineering, or information technology.
• 8 years GxP, laboratory, and/or instrument maintenance and repair experience.
• Experience performing and documenting instrument trouble shooting, non-routine events, and/or validations.
• Experience writing technical documents (e.g. procedures, investigations).
• Experience developing instrument validation deliverables (e.g. protocols, test scripts) within a GXP environment.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, calibration, and qualification of laboratory instrumentation per procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain compliance of quality systems and laboratory instrumentation.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of laboratory instrumentation.
• Implement/validate routine instrumentation and assist with research/implementation/validation of advanced instrumentation.
• Provide oversight, guidance, and training to technical personnel.
• Maintain routine instruments in a validated state at all times; perform assessment, trouble-shooting, repair; ensure PM and testing.
• Compliance - ensure activities on time and documented; quality policy understood.
• Productivity - organize schedule to complete high-priority tasks.
