ProSource, the Midwest region’s leading business technology solutions provider, seeks a Field Service Technician to represent the company, schedule service calls, install equipment, and troubleshoot printing and networking issues during installation and routine service.

This role requires a high school diploma, 7+ years in tech repair, a valid driver’s license, and related certifications (Emperon Connectivity, other vendor courses). Competitive start at $55,000 with bonuses; overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Tech, Computer Tech or related field.
• 7+ years experience in technical repair of business equipment.
• Industry-related certifications preferred (Canon, Ricoh, Xerox, Konica Minolta, Sharp, HP) or other credentials.
• Must have valid driver''s license.
• Certificates/Registrations — Emperon Connectivity Course and related courses.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service calls to meet contractual commitments.
• Provide break-fix support and perform network installations as needed.
• Service product line without assistance.
• Handle low & mid volume color services as required in territory.
• Troubleshoot basic printing issues (printer vs network).
• Set up scanning features and install equipment in peer-to-peer env.
• Assist other technicians or manager on service issues.
• Maintain toolkit, supplies, and inventory for assigned territory.
• Maintain minimum calls per day average.
• Build effective relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Provide sales support by advising on problems and service leads.
• Schedule required training courses (CBT, classroom, vendor courses).
• Maintain up-to-date service manuals and parts catalogs.
• Lead seminars to improve productivity for underperforming equipment.
