Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a Field Sales Manager to lead the plant sales team, drive sales goals, and develop new business relationships. You will translate PCA’s packaging solutions into client value, negotiate terms, and oversee account management to maximize revenue.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of direct sales experience in corrugated/packaging, plus leadership experience. Travel as needed and U.S. work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ direct sales experience in corrugated/packaging
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Experience managing people, coaching, and performance development
• Knowledge of market analysis, pricing, and packaging design

Responsibilities

• Lead the plant sales team to achieve targets and expand customer base
• Develop and execute sales plans aligned with PCA offerings
• Identify revenue opportunities and negotiate contracts
• Forecast sales, prepare quotes, and manage accounts and credit processes
• Resolve escalated customer service issues and maintain strong relationships
