Job summary

SMC is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive growth across Greenville, Spartanburg, and Asheville regions. The role requires regular travel to customer sites and active management of medium to large OEM accounts, focusing on new business and expansion within existing distributors.

You will present capabilities, manage relationships with key executives, and lead solution development with internal teams. A comprehensive incentive program and vehicle are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and growing OEM accounts.

Responsibilities

• Retains and profitably grows sales through proactive management of medium to large size OEM accounts.
• Meet or exceed annual growth expectations.
• Presents SMC capabilities and products to current and prospective customers.
• Serves as primary contact for assigned customers and drives customer growth.
• Leads all aspects of the sales process and collaborates to develop solutions.
• Own and manage customer relationships and action plans.
• Maintain deep relationships with top decision makers within strategic accounts.
• Utilize CRM and internal tools for data alignment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deploy client-focused strategies.
• Monitor timelines and milestones for deployments.
