Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Safety Director to lead safety across projects and regions, shaping policies and coaching field teams to meet regulatory requirements. You will drive hazard controls, incident investigations, and continuous improvement while partnering with operations and leadership.

This senior role requires strong communication, field presence, and the ability to travel to jobsites to ensure consistent safety execution and alignment with client safety expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Certifications such as CSP, CHST, ASP, OHST, or equivalent.
• OSHA 30-hour Construction certification required; OSHA 500/510 or similar instructor-level training.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety leadership, policy rollout, and program initiatives across projects and regions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and client safety requirements.
• Oversee inspections, audits, and corrective action plans to ensure field safety.
• Standardize hazard assessments, JHAs, permits, and safety processes.
• Coach safety staff, develop frontline leaders, and drive safety engagement.
• Investigate incidents and ensure root-cause actions are implemented.
• Analyze safety data, report to executives, and drive continuous improvement.
• Engage clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders on safety expectations.
