Clear Labs is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to support robotic systems at headquarters and customer sites worldwide, including international travel. The role emphasizes proactive maintenance, customer training, and cross-team collaboration to improve uptime and reliability.

The candidate should have hands-on field service experience in biotech or robotics, strong electronics troubleshooting skills, and excellent communication with customers. Willingness to travel 25–75% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred.
• Hands-on field service experience in biotech / life science / robotics.
• Strong troubleshooting in electronics, electromechanical systems, robotics, liquid handlers, computers and networking.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Working knowledge of technical support activities for world-class service.
• Ability to lift ~80 lbs and perform after-hours on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Install and service robotic systems at HQ and customer sites worldwide.
• Train customers on basic system maintenance and usage.
• Communicate with customers to instill confidence in Clear Labs teams.
• Provide feedback to internal teams to improve system reliability.
• Support Field Applications and logistics to maximize uptime.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and support project initiatives.
• Coordinate with Sales/Evaluations to achieve financial targets.
