Clear Labs in San Carlos, CA is seeking a Senior Field Service Engineer to support robotic systems at HQ and client sites worldwide. You will install, maintain, and repair equipment, train customers, and work with cross‑functional teams to improve reliability.

The role requires hands-on biotech/robotics field service experience, strong troubleshooting, excellent communication, and the ability to lift ~80 lbs. Expect 25%–75% travel and after-hours on-call.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field strongly preferred.
• Hands-on field service experience in biotech/life science/robotics.
• Troubleshooting electronics, electromechanical systems, robotics, and networking.
• Excellent communication and customer service to manage expectations.
• Excel proficiency is required.
• Ability to lift up to ~80 lbs and perform after-hours on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support robotic systems at HQ and customer sites worldwide.
• Installations, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs.
• Train customers on system maintenance and usage.
• Provide feedback to improve system reliability and uptime.
• Coordinate with Sales/Evaluations to meet financial targets.
• Manage spare parts inventory and project-related tasks.
