Job summary

RMS Energy Co, LLC is seeking Field Service Technicians to engage in challenging fieldwork across the United States. In this hands-on role, you will test and maintain power systems, ensuring all safety and operational standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of relevant experience, a strong understanding of electrical systems, and the ability to mentor junior techs. Competitive compensation and full benefits package available.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience testing, maintaining, and commissioning power systems up to 500kV.
• Able to read and interpret schematics, one-line diagrams, and manuals.
• Experience with power system safety and field standards.

Responsibilities

• Test, maintain, and collect data on voltage systems from 480V to 600kV.
• Troubleshoot control circuits and logic protections.
• Help mentor team members on safety and testing procedures.

Skills

Troubleshooting experience

Field experience with power systems

Familiarity with test documentation software

Understanding of NFPA 70E and OSHA standards

Microsoft Office proficiency

Education

High school diploma or GED

NETA Level II certification (preferred)

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Technology or related field
