RMS Energy Co, LLC is seeking Field Service Technicians to test, maintain, and commission power systems from 480V to high voltages at industrial sites across the United States. You’ll work with relays, transformers, and SCADA, performing a range of standard tests and documenting results.

The role requires up to 75% travel, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety. Growth opportunities exist within a mission-driven team, with training and certification support.

Formación

• 3–5 years of field experience testing, maintaining, and commissioning power systems up to 500kV; related experience considered.
• Experience with megohmmeters, TTRs, contact resistance testers, and insulation testers
• Familiarity with PowerDB or similar test documentation software
• Strong understanding of NFPA 70E, OSHA 1910.269, and field safety standards
• Able to read schematics and one-line diagrams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Organized, safety-conscious, and able to manage time and priorities independently

Responsabilidades

• Test, maintain, and collect data on low to high voltage systems across sites
• Run standard field tests (TTR, insulation resistance, Power Factor, Tan Delta, VLF, DC Hi-Pot)
• Troubleshoot control circuits and protection schemes
• Read and interpret schematics and one-line diagrams
• Support commissioning activities and ensure customer satisfaction
• Communicate with customers on-site and provide timely updates
• Maintain accurate reports and calibration records
