Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Sr Methods Specialist in Lombard, IL to initiate, research, develop, and approve field work practices, tools, and equipment that enhance safety and productivity. The role collaborates with line personnel, management, external vendors, and other utilities to drive value while supporting energy delivery continuity.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree with 4–7 years' experience (or 6–9 years without a degree), strong communication, and solid MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers, peers, subordinates and management

Responsibilities

• Research, test, and develop field work practices, procedures, tools, equipment, and materials for various business unit functions.
• Develop and distribute Field Notes, Equipment Bulletins, and documentation to alert the workforce to changes and issues.
• Interface with EED Departments to promote safety-oriented, productive work practices and tools.
• Foster collaborative relationships across Exelon to leverage synergies and improve outcomes.
• Respond to system needs and support operations, including extended hours during storms or emergencies.
