Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA is seeking a Senior Construction Materials Testing Technician for field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt and related materials in Geismar, LA. The role requires strong knowledge of testing procedures and the ability to document results accurately.

Candidates should have 1+ years in construction materials testing and preferably hold ACI, NICET, or TxDOT certifications. Dependable transportation, a clean driving record and willingness to work varied hours are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ years of Construction Materials Testing experience.
• Experience with soils, concrete, asphalt, and field testing procedures.
• ACI, NICET, TxDOT, or related certifications preferred.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, and related materials.
• Conduct concrete testing including slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, and cylinder casting.
• Perform soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear density gauge.
• Complete Proctor testing, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis and other soil tests.
• Monitor pile installation documenting capacity, penetration, and blow counts.
• Prepare accurate field and lab reports.
• Communicate updates to dispatch, management and onsite clients.
• Maintain safety procedures and build client relationships.
• Arrive on time and support team members as needed.
