Job summary

The Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management, Wyoming State Office, Cody Field Office, Cody, Wyoming, is seeking a Field Manager at the GS-13 level in Cody, Wyoming. This leadership role directs complex natural resource programs, guides a multidisciplinary team, and ensures efficient use of budgets and staff.

You will work with stakeholders and comply with regulatory requirements, making priorities decisions and fostering collaboration with government, industry, and the public.

Qualifications

• At least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-12 in the Federal service.
• Experience directing, coordinating, or managing complex natural resource management programs.
• Experience providing leadership, supervision, and direction to multidisciplinary teams and employees.
• Experience developing and managing budgets, staffing, and other organizational resources.
• Experience making and implementing management decisions involving competing priorities, complex issues, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience building effective working relationships with stakeholders, government entities, industry representatives, and the public to address complex or potentially controversial resource management issues.
