Job summary

Bison Oil & Gas IV, LLC, Denver-based upstream oil and gas operator, seeks a Land Administration Manager to oversee lease records, land contracts, and division orders across Colorado and Wyoming assets. You will lead a team, ensure data accuracy, and collaborate with Land, Legal, Accounting, and Revenue to support drilling and operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in land administration, with strong knowledge of leases, agreements, and land systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Energy Management, Petroleum Land Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive land administration or related upstream oil and gas experience.
• Strong knowledge of fee, state, and federal oil and gas leases, assignments, JOA, pooling and unit agreements, rights-of-way, easements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day land administration activities and lead lease records, land contracts administration, and division order functions.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of land records, ownership data, leases, contracts, and related information.
• Administer and maintain Colorado and Wyoming leases, assignments, joint operating agreements, pooling, and surface rights.
• Track critical lease provisions, expirations, payments, and other key requirements.
• Maintain land ownership data within ECMC and WOGCC units to support well planning and operations.
• Research and resolve complex land, title, ownership, and contractual issues with internal teams.
