Job summary

Penn National Insurance is seeking a Senior Loss Control Consultant to support commercial lines in Maryland, Delaware and the Philadelphia area. You will conduct on-site surveys and virtual consultations to evaluate operations, identify hazards and recommend risk-reducing solutions.

Travel with overnight stays may be required. The ideal candidate has a strong safety/risk management background, excellent communication and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, science or engineering preferred.
• Professional designations such as ALCM, ARM, ASP, CSP, CIH or OHST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle large and complex accounts.
• Visit accounts to understand operations, hazards, and effectiveness of safety programs.
• Provide loss control consulting for written accounts and assist underwriting decisions.
