Terracon is seeking an experienced field technician/inspector to perform testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials across soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel. You will document findings, coordinate with project teams, and help manage field operations on active projects in Austin, TX.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent training.
• Experience with laptop computer use and Microsoft Word and Excel.
• A valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Performs testing, observation, and inspection as directed in accordance with training and the procedures.
• Provides clear documentation of findings and results.
• Performs basic data analysis before submission to Project Manager.
• Communicates information to Project Manager and other personnel as directed by PM.
• Trains lower level technicians
• May direct and supervise activities of other technicians in lab or field projects.
• Interacts with client and site personnel when directed
• Assists Project Manager in development of scope for testing and inspection services
• Maintains equipment operation and calibration.
• Performs advanced fieldwork and assists with project management.
• Plan, schedule and dispatch Technicians to project sites based on skill set and location.
• Coordinate pre-dispatch activities with managers.
• Track projects in CMELMS and communicate status to clients.
