Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking a remote maintenance technician to support VTS and SCCCS systems for the U.S. Coast Guard sector in Morgan City/New Orleans.

The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, travel to remote sites, and collaboration with customer teams. Requires a Bachelor’s in IT or Electronics or USCG/DOD training, plus 4+ years with C4ISR systems, tower climbing ability, and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Electronics Engineering or completion of USCG/DOD Technical Schools preferred.
• Four+ years of experience with C4IT/C4ISR systems.
• USCG/DOD standards experience in installation, troubleshooting or repair.
• Must be able to climb towers and obtain tower climbing certification.
• Must lift 50 lbs and be able to use stairs and ladders.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive maintenance services for electronic systems per Maintenance Procedure.
• Update maintenance procedures as needed.
• Provide casualty maintenance within prescribed timelines.
• Support general IT and facilities maintenance tasks.
• Travel to remote sites for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Review system/component schematics and work under deadlines.
