Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) is seeking a skilled technician to maintain fielded VTS and SCCCS electronic systems at the Staten Island area (USCG Sector). You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, updates to procedures, and provide general IT support to sustain mission-critical operations.

The role requires tower-climb capability, ability to travel to remote sites, and strong collaboration with customer teams. U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in IT or Electronics Engineering; education/USCG/DOD training may substitute with 4+ years in C4IT/C4ISR.
Four (4) years of commercial experience in electronic systems installation/troubleshooting/repair.
Must be able to climb towers and obtain tower climbing certification.
Must be able to drive.
Ability to pass and maintain background clearance; pre-employment checks required.
U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Provide preventive maintenance for various electronic systems.
Update maintenance procedures as needed.
Provide casualty maintenance for supported electronic systems within defined timelines.
Perform general IT functions to support preventive and corrective maintenance.
Assist in procurement of parts and services; manage multiple assignments.
Travel to remote sites to conduct maintenance and support.
Attend customer meetings and provide briefings as required.
