Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking a skilled IT/electronics professional to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fielded VTS and SCCCS systems for the U.S. Coast Guard Sector Morgan City/New Orleans. Travel to remote sites and adherence to safety policies are required to meet mission needs.

The role demands strong troubleshooting, ability to review schematics, and effective communication within a team and with customers. A clearance and background checks are prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Electronics Engineering or completion of USCG or DOD Technical Schools preferred.
• Four+ years of experience with C4IT/C4ISR Systems.
• Four years of commercial experience in electronic systems installation, troubleshooting and/or repair.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive maintenance for electronic systems.
• Update maintenance procedures as needed.
• Provide casualty maintenance within prescribed timelines.
• Travel to remote sites for maintenance.
• Review system schematics and work within deadlines.
