Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) is seeking a field technician to provide preventive, corrective, and general maintenance for VTS and SCCCS systems in the Seattle area, supporting the U.S. Coast Guard sector.

The role requires travel to remote sites, strong electronics/IT skills, and compliance with safety and security requirements. A BS in IT or Electronics engineering or related USCG/DOD training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Electronics Engineering or completion of USCG or DOD technical schools.
• Educational Experience: Four plus years working with C4IT/C4ISR systems.
• USCG/DOD Standards: Four years of commercial experience in electronic systems installation, troubleshooting and/or repair.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive maintenance services for various electronic systems.
• Update maintenance procedures as needed.
• Provide casualty maintenance within prescribed timelines.
• Provide general IT functions in support of maintenance.
• Travel to remote sites to conduct maintenance.
