Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions in Chesapeake VA seeks an Engineering Technician V to perform complex assignments, plan and conduct projects, and coordinate with related teams. You will lead installation, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced machinery and electrical systems on customer sites.

The role requires US citizenship, ability to obtain a secret clearance, and 8+ years of related experience or USCG/DOD A School. Travel and compliance with contract requirements are essential.

Qualifications

U.S. citizen required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
Completion of USCG or DOD technical A School or 8 years related experience.
Background check and pre-employment drug test required.
Associates degree in Engineering Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead installation, configuration, and testing of highly technical machinery and systems.
Design, develop, and construct major units, devices, or equipment; test and modify to improve performance.
Plan tests, determine requirements, conduct tests, analyze results, and report findings.
Perform repairs, maintenance, and installation of electronic equipment.
Develop and review engineering documents and drawings; keep records updated.
Travel as needed and work independently.
Other duties as assigned.
