Job summary

MBP seeks a Construction Inspector II to support field compliance, quality assurance, and documentation on active construction projects. You will represent MBP on-site, verify conformance with specs and codes, and coordinate with agencies and contractors to address issues.

You’ll develop pay applications, maintain project records, and assist in scheduling and budget decisions. The role requires independent work with guidance as projects grow, and travel to various sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent construction experience.
• Proficiency in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry for field measurements.
• Construction-related training and experience demonstrating ability to perform duties.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office and specialized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as MBP representative on active sites, verify conformance to specs and codes.
• Coordinate with agency, contractors, MBP team to address discrepancies and actions.
• Document project activities and advise on field issues affecting schedule and budget.
• Develop payment applications and project records and reporting approaches.
• Maintain project records including daily diaries and inspection reports.
