Job summary

Weston Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Project Geoscientist to lead field investigations, coordinate sampling programs, and guide multidisciplinary teams to deliver defensible technical results.

You will manage scope, schedule, and budget under PM direction, applying EHS standards, QA/QC, and regulatory requirements while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geoscience, or related field.
• G.I.T. or PG registration preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct field investigations and sampling programs, coordinating field operations to meet objectives.
• Lead moderate-to-complex field and office scopes, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Lead EHS implementation for medium- to high-risk work on projects.
• Evaluate new technologies and process improvements for benefits.
• Define and adapt technical methods; resolve nonroutine issues with senior input.
• Serve as technical lead in geoscience practice areas and guide standard application.
• Document and present technically sound findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Lead peer and quality reviews and maintain auditable project records.
• Coordinate work for staff and subcontractors; communicate expectations.
