X4 Engineering, in partnership with a leading U.S. TIC company, is seeking a Field Evaluations Engineer to support projects nationwide.

The role focuses on on-site labeling, certification testing, and compliance evaluations for industrial machinery and electrical systems. You will perform field testing across locations, communicate findings clearly to customers, and develop test plans that verify performance and safety.

X4 Engineering has teamed up with a leading U.S. Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) company to hire a Field Evaluations Engineer to support projects across the US. In this role, you’ll perform on-site labeling, certification testing, and compliance evaluations for industrial machinery and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field labeling and certification testing in line with applicable domestic regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Provide clear feedback to customers regarding any compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
• Design and implement test strategies to assess compliance, functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Manage assigned client projects by selecting suitable testing methods and equipment while ensuring the correct application of standards.

Key Requirements

• Familiarity with standards such as NFPA 79, UL 508A, IEC/EN/UL/CSA 61010-1, UL 2011, EN 60204-1, EN ISO 10218, ANSI/RIA R15.06, and UL 1740 is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with both internal teams and external clients.
• Knowledge of NEC, CEC, and relevant local/provincial electrical codes.

Note: This role requires frequent travel, approximately 75% across the US. Monthly bonuses as well as your annual salary are available with this position.
