Job summary

Eversource in Westwood, MA is seeking an Electrical Field Engineer to act as technical lead for planning, maintenance, and project activities in the Technical Field Engineering department.

You will coordinate field teams, oversee test and commissioning plans for substation and electric field systems, support training programs, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while traveling throughout Eastern MA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Eight or more years of related experience.
• PE license is preferred.
• Strong computer skills and experience with databases, test equipment, and hardware configuration.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and coordination of test and commissioning for substation and field systems.
• Provide technical support for field engineering and equipment testing.
• Develop training curricula for field engineering staff.
• Review test results and maintenance reports for compliance and quality.
• Travel across Eastern MA for field support.
• Respond to emergencies and on-call assignments.
