Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Field Communications Supervisor to lead maintenance and project activities for communications and automation systems. You will set schedules, direct staff and contractors, and ensure safe, compliant operations across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include coordinating engineers and technicians, defining project scopes, and overseeing spare parts and field support for successful project completion.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of Field Communications equipment.
• Ability to repair, adjust, test and operate equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety methods and procedures.
• Ability to analyze information, make decisions and resolve problems.
• Proficient in databases, test equipment, and hardware configuration.
• Knowledge of switching and tagging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, maintenance and repair of communications/automation systems.
• Coordinate schedules and provide work direction to engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Define project scope and oversee external contractors.
• Coordinate maintenance with other departments.
• Approve test results and manage spare parts inventories.
• Provide field support to Engineering and Design groups.
