Job summary

Specialist Staffing Group is seeking an engineer with deep PV, BESS, data center, and transmission line design experience to support project delivery onsite in the Ohio region.

You will work with EPCs through final design, provide RFI support, and apply civil/geotechnical considerations to optimize PV systems while collaborating in a dynamic team environment.

The role emphasizes on-site presence during construction and strong communication across disciplines to solve complex problems.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of PV/BESS/data center/substation/transmission line design experience.
• ABET-accredited degree and PE license preferred.
• Strong engineering, design, and communication skills in a dynamic team.
• Daily onsite presence required during construction period.

Responsibilities

• Support design and construction for PV, BESS, data center, and related systems.
• Collaborate with EPCs through final design phases of projects.
• Provide expert onsite RFI support and engineering oversight.
• Assess civil/geotechnical implications on PV design and performance.
