Job summary

SB Energy is seeking a Data Center Project Engineer to join our on-site construction management team in Piketon, OH. You will coordinate with Operations, Networking, Controls, Security, and Commissioning to deliver high-quality data center facilities.

You will own document management, RFIs, and change orders, while tracking milestones and vendor performance. A related engineering degree or equivalent construction background is required, with 1–3 years in construction or project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in construction or project management.
• Experience in data center or mission critical facility environments.
• Knowledge of electrical systems in critical Data Center operations.

Responsibilities

• Establish communication across contractors, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain a tracking system for design changes, RFIs, and change orders.
• On-board new vendors for badging and orientation.
• Update project management software with milestones and documents.
• Monitor delivery of owner furnished material to site.
• Compile and store construction data from vendors.
• Manage checklists including safety and quality.
