Job summary

Traylor Bros., Inc. is seeking a Sr. Field Engineer to plan, design, and supervise heavy civil construction projects. You will analyze surveys, prepare cost/revenue estimates, and lead field teams to ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and at least 5 years of heavy civil construction experience, with a preference for bridge and marine projects. Travel and relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in heavy civil construction.
• Bridge construction experience strongly preferred.
• Marine construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, plans, and specifications to plan projects.
• Estimate project cost and potential revenue trajectory from start to finish.
• Coordinate with Walkers/Superintendents on project planning and approvals.
• Lead recurring team meetings to align expectations and goals.
